Honorary prize

The committee for the Haugesund Conference has set up a prize to be awarded every year to a company, institution, organisation or person who has made a proven special contribution to improving safety within the field of shipping.

The aim of the prize is to direct attention towards safety as both an important and socially beneficial issue and to encourage further contributions in this field.

The committee that selects the deserving winners has set the standard so high that it does not award prize in some years.

If you have a nomination for a deserving winner, please send your nomination to us together with the reasons for your nomination.
